Filming at Gas Works Park on Wednesday

Margaret Margaret April 17, 2011 Comments are off

Filmmaker Nick Nelson wrote to give us the heads-up that he and a crew of about 20-25 people will be shooting a short film at Gas Works Park this Wednesday, April 20, from 2pm to 2am.  Nick wanted to assure the residents in the area that the noise level will be very low, and the lights they’ll use to illuminate the park will not be jarring or interfering with surrounding homes and boats, and will run on a generator designed to run quietly during filming.  He has a permit to use the park and they’ll have a police officer on-site to monitor the shoot.
Gonna sleep now!

The film is a production of Seattle Central Community College, and is a comedy about a man who sleepwalks; but rather than walking to the bathroom or raiding the fridge, he works out/trains a la “Rocky”.

Nick added, “We are very excited to have the opportunity to shoot in the neighborhood and we ensure you our shoot will be run with the utmost respect for surrounding residents. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me either via email at [email protected] or by phone at 206-465-4417.”
