Satay featured on The Food Network

Add one more food establishment to the growing list Wallingford “celebrestaurants” — now it’s Satay’s turn to be in the spotlight on The Food Network. On Monday night, June 27, “Meat and Potatoes” will feature an episode called “Meat on a Stick.” Tune in and find out what Chef Rahm Fama thinks about Satay’s spicy, sweet beef sataya. He must’ve been pretty impressed if they shot 9 hours worth of footage for a 7 minute segment!

To celebrate, the Satay guys are hosting a viewing party at the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Community Hall, located at 6532 Phinney Avenue N., from 9:45-11:00pm and everyone’s invited.
If you can’t make the viewing party, here’s when you can catch the episode on The Food Network:
  • Jun 27, 2011: 10:30 PM ET/PT
  • Jun 28, 2011: 1:30 AM ET/PT
  • Jul 03, 2011: 4:00 PM ET/PT
The guys from Satay also wanted us to let everyone know that their new back patio is now open and that they’re hosting a Trivia night every Thursday at 7:30pm for $2.00 per person.

“(Airdate June 27, 2011) Lamb kebabs are sampled at a Persian eatery in San Francisco; homemade sausage is served on a stick at Hewtin’s Dogs Mobile in Providence, R.I.; and the host learns to make Malaysian beef satay in Seattle.” Alrighty, got it plugged into the DVR. Way to go, Satay!
