Gift of Grace Pastor involved in motorcycle accident

Margaret Margaret July 10, 2011 1 Comment

We just received word from Vivian Little that Pastor Jami Fecher of the Gift of Grace Church was involved in a motorcycle accident in Idaho.  Here’s an email she wrote to Gift of Grace parishioners:

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Pastor Jami Fecher is on vacation and was heading east on his motorcycle. While in Idaho, he got into an accident and had to be taken to a hospital in Pocatello, ID. At this point no one knows how the accident happened; fortunately, he was on the highway and another driver called for help. Jami has a concussion, fractured ribs and a small hole in his lung. He will remain in ICU until the doctors determine if he needs surgery.
He is in good medical care and in God’s loving arms. Valerie Hunt has flown to be with him and will keep me updated on his healing. His children and family members here in Seattle are taking care of Lizzie and POTUS and watching their house.
It would not be good at this time to try to reach Pastor Jami by phone as he is in pain and needs to rest. This is as much information that I have now but I will update you all when I get more information. Do not reply to this email address, you may email me, Vivian Little, at [email protected]  or call me at 206.795.1220 and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.
If you would like to send a card to him, you may mail it to Pastor Jami Fecher c/o Gift of Grace Church 2102 N. 40th St. Seattle, WA 98103 and we will make sure that he receives your love and support.
Please pray to God for Jami’s quick recovery and healing and that his caregivers will be very attentive to all of his medical needs.
God’s Peace be with you,
Vivian Little

P.S. Jami’s motorcycle was totaled.
