Summer’s winding down (sniff, sniff) and this Thursday (8/25) from 5:30-8pm, Izilla Toys is hosting their final Family Picnic Party for the season. The fun takes place on the Wallingford Center’s northwest patio outside and inside by Izilla’s shop. Come and hang out, pack a blanket and a picnic dinner (or bring some delicious takeout from your favorite Wallingford restaurant) and enjoy complimentary natural sodas by Hansen’s. Afterwards, bring the kiddos inside for face painting by the amazingly talented Ryan Alley while you enter for a chance to win a Wallingford Center Merchants Raffle Basket!

This is our last Picnic Party of the summer and our friends at Panacea Foods have stepped up to help us go out with a bang! What’s a panacea? It’s a remedy. A solution to a problem. The problem being: What am I going to make for dinner? Relax, Panacea will do it. They’ll make your dinner, pack it up and deliver it to your door. They use the best ingredients they can get their hands on – local or organic when they can. It is important to them to support local and organic producers and farmers.
