Woodland Park Zoo is holding its annual Bunny Bounce this Saturday, April 7, from 9:30am – 2:00pm, complete with egg hunts, bunny sightings, and lots of fun activities for kids from ages 1-8. Bring your own bag or basket for the egg hunts on the North Meadow.

Guests can also watch as Woodland Park Zoo’s animal residents are treated to Easter-themed baskets full of greens, flowers, berries, and other goodies. According to the Zoo, “(The treats) are part of the zookeepers’ ongoing efforts to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals, promote natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and engage zoo visitors.”

I wonder if anyone knows about Kitaro Bento Sushi on 45th. It looks like nothing has happened since the fire several months ago and I am curious if they might reopen or if they are gone for good. I liked the place and have hopes they’ll come back, but I haven’t seen one bit of activity there.
