Stone Way Community Party

Margaret Margaret May 25, 2012 4 Comments

Neighbors who live at the Stone Way Building (1215 N. 45th St.) are throwing a “Community Stone Way Party” this Saturday, May 26, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and everyone is invited. Here are the details from Fathia Atallah (Wallingford’s Edith Piaf incarnate):

Our Spring Party is a always a lot of fun for the residents and our neighbors who live around and near the Stone Way Building to spend time with each other in the lovely garden behind our building and sample some great music and delicious food.

  • Amy and Lulit will serenade us with a few beautiful A Capella songs.
  • The Twin Brothers promised to break dance for us.
  • Sigrid will sing a song or two.
  • Our Tenor friend and neighbor Robert will enchant us with one or two popular songs.
  • Fathia will bring her guitar. Suzanne and her her Cello will play a fun Bach melody!

The entrance door is secure and we want to make sure people can get in. It’s best if people call (206-324-3523) or email @ [email protected]  if they are coming.

Click on the address in the blog entry, and you’ll see a map pointing to that address but NE (i.e., in the U District). The place actually is west of Stone Way on N 45th, I gather.

You’re right, Jane, and thanks for catching that. I’ve fixed it so it is mapped to N.45th at Stone Way.

Do you think I can bring my mini-labradoodle therapy dog since this is outside? Would hate to walk that far and be sent away.

Also, map still shows building at Midvale. I imagine we will hear the music?

I went to the party. It was great. All other guests were residents, and they were very welcoming. I put the dog in the car because he was too intrigued by the delicious food. Fathia’s music was lovely; her voice is delicious.

Thanks Wallyhood for publicizing. More neighbors should join next time.
