The Wallingford United Methodist Church (2115 N. 42nd Street) is hosting an ice cream social this Sunday (9/23), from 3:00pm – 5:00pm, with special guest, State Rep. Jamie Pedersen. Here are the details:
This Sunday, September 23rd, Wallingford United Methodist Church, located at 42nd and Bagley will be hosting an ice cream fundraiser in support of Marriage Equality. As you may be aware, Governor Gregoire signed a law at the beginning of the year allowing for all committed couples the rights and obligations of marriage. This new law is being put in front of the voters this election year.
All funds raised during this event will be donated to Washington United for Marriage for use towards their Approve Ref. 74 Campaign. More information available at www.WashingtonUnitedForMarriag

Wallingford UMC is a faith community that embraces everyone. The motto for the church is “It’s About Love.” To show support for Marriage Equality, WUMC is inviting one and all to an Ice Cream Social this Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. As a special guest, Jamie Pedersen, our local State Representative and one of the co-sponsors of the original bill will be joining us.
The event is family friendly and there will be child care provided.Please join us in a fun-filled get-together supporting an excellent cause.
