The final Art Walk of the season approaches, this Wednesday, October 3rd, from 6-9PM. Art Walk organizers plan to close with a “big, magical, fun send-off!”
Our ‘Street Team’ will be out and about over the next couple of weeks to decorate the storefronts and streets of the neighborhood with glittering stars to create a magical feel. Come out in costumes if you like – unicorns, dragons, faeries, magicians and more are welcome!
Featured artists and musicians include:
Tom Talbott’s photos of birds from Northern California to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska at Windows Art Gallery.
Steve Veach’s dramatic portraits at KERF Gallery.
Joe Lavely’s works at Tea House Kuan Yin.
Guitarist and vocalist Jeremy Serwer at the Wallingford Center stage on the patio.
The “dynamic duo” of Tallulah Assaf and Sylvia Bates who lead Catch the Cat at Wallingford Center as well.
And many more!

Also, according to the mamavine, Patience of Sugar on Top Salon is seeking donations of art supplies so that she can beautify the ‘hood for the October 3rd Wallingford Art Walk.
We are going to decorate 45th/Wallingford with 1,000 silver glittery stars.
We are seeking donations of cardboard (cereal boxes, cracker boxes, etc.) glitter, glue, and fishing wire. Anything will help! Just drop it by Sugar on Top at 1601 N. 45th Street during Salon hours (Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm).
Take a minute to dig through your recycling and help Patience. It sounds like this is an art walk not to be missed!
