Freeway Estates Community Orchard Pruning Workshop

Melody February 9, 2013 Comments are off

Treehuggers rejoice! This Sunday, Freeway Estates Community Orchard will host the Young Tree Pruning Workshop, an invaluable opportunity to learn how to care for your fruit-bearing leafy friends. The orchard is located in the Wallingford-ish area off of I-5 at 6th Avenue NE and NE 60th street. The workshop will be led by Ingela Wanerstrand, a professional pruner, horticulturist and Edmonds Community College instructor.

Join the orchard folks to discuss different pruning strategies, learn pruning techniques and experience the budding beauty of this local community project.
