The process for upgrading the Wallingford Playfield is in full swing. Jordan wrote about it earlier and provided much of the necessary context. The executive summary: the city has $400,000 to upgrade the playfield equipment and they want community input.

The playfield is frequently crowded whenever I visit with my daughters, and the playfield has a great story behind its creation. While not as contentious as dogs at Wallingford park, the playfield quietly contributes to the park and our community.
