Vámonos Spanish Center is now offering virtual Spanish classes

Susanna Susanna March 27, 2020 Comments are off

Vámonos Spanish Center in Tangletown is now offering virtual Spanish classes. It’s a great way to support a local business and make good use of your extra time at home. I’ve been taking classes with them for a few months now and they’ve done a great job transitioning from in-person to virtual classes. I really look forward to it every week. Make the most of your time at home by learning Spanish.

More from the owner Amanda Reichert:

Learn Spanish Online with Vámonos Spanish Center. At Vámonos Spanish Center, we use the most effective method for language instruction –the immersion method- in conjunction with innovative, unique curriculum (written by VSC’s owner & founder) and a variety of activities/methods to practice each week. We specialize in adult (only) group classes, and also offer private lessons (for adults) for those with specific goals or who prefer individualized instruction. Now available from the convenience of your own home!

Note: this is different from an “online” course; you will take this class with a group of peers at a specific time each week, rather than completing it independently at your leisure. With the use of Zoom, you will have a similar experience to that of being in a classroom- you’ll practice in pairs and groups, as well as whole class instruction (each class is limited to 12 students). Playing games, reading stories, and singing popular songs are just some of the activities you’ll experience each week, while “traveling” to different Spanish-speaking regions and learning about different hispanic cultures including Spain, Mexico, Central America, South America and more! If you are one of many who now find yourself with “extra” time, need a distraction, or just a bit of fun.
