What is this? Where is this? Treasure Hunt!

Mike Ruby Mike Ruby August 16, 2021 Comments are off

“This shingled tower rises from a building that has been adapted to serve a different use. The building still has features that reveal its original use, such as the garage doors.”

Q: What was the original use of this building?

******************************************************

This is just one of the photos and hints to help you solve the Treasure Hunt of the Wallingford business district along 45th. Grab the kids and take them out for a walk to spot the answers to questions posed in the “Where in Wallingford? Treasure Hunt”. Be sure to return your completed form by September 15 so you are eligible for the prize drawings.

How It Works –

  • Pick up a treasure hunt map today at one of our five sponsor businesses:
    • Wally Pets, 4411 Wallingford Ave N
    • Murphy’s Pub, 1928 N 45th St
    • Swanson’s Shoe Repair, 2305 N 45th St
    • Seattle Pops, 1401 N 45th St
    • Archie McPhee, 1300 N 45th St
  • Just check the pictures and each clue on the map to find what is pictured and answer the question asked. Once you have written down all your answers, return your completed entry to the box at one of the sponsor shops by September 15. Incomplete maps are OK, so return your map even if you can’t answer all the questions.
  • The sponsors are offering prizes to be awarded to the winners. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded soon after the 15th.
