A walk, saunter, or waddle down 45th feels a little different today… something catches my eye. It’s purple and green and a little jazzy and wasn’t there last week! I spy with my little eye some new banners announcing the upcoming Wallingford Parade on Saturday, July 11, at 11 am. Ron Waldman, our resident banner guy, worked hard on a recent sunny weekend to get the neighborhood looking festive before the big day! Many thanks to Blake Garfield and his son Brett, assisted by Larry and Rhonda Bush, for helping to install the remaining banners.
What: 74th Annual Wallingford Parade
When: Saturday, July 11, 11 am
Why: To bring together the Wallingford neighbors to celebrate our community, but everyone from all over Seattle is welcome!
How can I help? Say no more. Volunteer + support the parade.
Can I BE in the parade? Yep! Parade participation.
But hey, no need to wait until the parade to check out the new banners. Come on down to 45th Street and bring your bingo card while you’re at it—our neighborhood businesses really appreciate the support.
