Balo Bash

Join Balo USA for the annual Balo Bash fundraiser! It’s a night of delicious food and drinks, a silent auction, World Market, and dancing to the totally rad sounds of The Scrunchies, Seattle’s 80s cover band! Come enjoy an epic evening with friends and the Balo community while supporting a great cause. Everyone is welcome, so bring your crew and get ready to dance! Please note this is a 21+ event.
A bit more about the organization: Balo USA supports the Balo School in Kolkata, India, which provides an English language education from pre-school to 12th grade, as well as guidance to students as they launch into universities, high-level job training programs, and life. Balo USA was founded in 2015 when Wallingford resident Anne Leaché recruited her friends and neighbors to support this life-changing organization. (Full disclosure: I am one of those friends who serves on the board!)

Attending FamilyWorks’ Sunday Supper is a tangible way to provide more than 8,200 families with nutritious food, vital resources, and the support they need to thrive, sending a clear message that this work matters.
University District Food Bank Take a Bite Out of Hunger Auction
