Stone Soup Presents-A Child’s Christmas In Wales

Stone Soup Theatre (4029 Stone Way N.) presents A Child’s Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas and Directed by Jenny McMurry. Productions begin December 3-24, Friday-Sunday, with special matinée performances on Wednesday, December 22, Thursday, December 23, and Friday, December 24 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm.  Evening performances take place Friday and Saturday 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2:00pm.  (No 7:30pm performances on December 24th)

Ticket Prices are $18 per person or $16 per person for groups of 4 or more.

Wine World Grand Opening

By now I’m sure you have spotted the red radiant sign that illuminates right off of I-5 at 400 NE 45th Street and is visible from 520 spelling out WINE WORLD!

December 1st is the day the doors will slide open to the the public.  It’ll be the largest wine store in the Northwest—23,000 square feet of wine, artisan cheese, charcuterie, flowers, gifts, tasting bars, and a 4,000 square foot private event room. Wine World Warehouse states, “If we don’t have it, we’ll get it!” Now that’s what we call service!

Final Year for Pathway Of Lights?

The Seattle Parks and Recreation and Green Lake Community Center Advisory Council are proud to announce the 34th Annual Pathway Of Lights at Green Lake (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) –taking place Saturday, December 11, from 4:30pm-7:30pm, RAIN or SHINE.  The lake will be surrounded by thousands of candles, making the walk even more enjoyable.  The holiday spirit will be in full-swing, as local musicians, carolers, and warm beverages/treats en-light our community on this dark December evening.

Salon Metro: Toiletries Drive

Tis the season of giving and Salon Metro needs our help!

Salon Metro (1714 N. 45th) is now collecting toiletries for the Orion Center and Youth Care Transitional Living Program.  Drop off  your donations at Salon Metro, Tuesday-Friday, 11am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-3pm.

Donation requests include unused/unopened shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, brushes, make-up, toothpaste, facial and body soaps, and etc.–full size or travel size.  These items will help support the teens and young adults who are trying to obtain jobs and continue their education.  By simply dropping off toiletries to Salon Metro you’ll be making a huge impact on supporting the homeless young …

The 45th Street Clinic is part of the Neighborcare Health program that has been serving the Seattle area for over 40 years, and is the largest provider of medical and dental care in Seattle, reaching out to those who are uninsured and the homeless community.
