FamilyWorks Presents Puppet Show Fundraiser

On Saturday , March 13, FamilyWorks will host Drew Derby—King County librarian and puppeteer extraordinare—for an hour long, family fun puppet show, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.  The show is appropriate for families with children ages 2-11. Suggested donation is $2 per person, or pay what you can.  All proceeds benefit the FamilyWorks food bank and free parent education programs. Indoor Bouncy House

Izilla Toys in Wallingford Center is having their Grand Reopening this Sunday, February 21st from 10 am - 3 pm: Chris Ballew, aka Caspar Babypants, will be performing at 11 am and Jackie Brulotee ("The Best Face Painter in the World") will be painting faces with hypo-allergenic, FDA approved face paints at 12:30 pm. Wallyhood School Poll Results

Last week, we asked parents to indicate which school their children would attend this fall, and the results were pretty interesting:  Of the 89 respondents, 33% indicated their kids will go to John Stanford, while 26% said their kids will attend private school.  21% chose "other" public schools, and the rest was divided among McDonald School, B.F.
