At Long Last, Wallingford Playfield is Opening Soon

Just in time for summertime play dates, Wallingford playground is opening on July 4th. We've been following the renovation of the playground since November of 2018 when construction first started. Construction was delayed in winter due to bad weather. According to the Parks and Recreation website, the latest construction delays were due to the wood fiber surfacing delivery and installation.
