Some 20 years ago, we planted about 200 daffodils along the Wallingford Avenue N margin of Wallingford Playfield. They continue to welcome spring each year. Since then, the Parks Department has pruned some of the big shrubs east of the tennis courts, liberating an area where we can plant some more flowers.
