Hamilton Construction Update

Bamboo Village coming to Wallingford

Eagle-eyed Wallyhood Reader Jay W. spotted construction (and a bit of overexuberant hedge-cutting) underway at 49th and Stone Way where Home Realty used to be. A bit of web searching, and he turned up this permit, which authorizes the construction of a "1-story addition to the west of existing comm bldg, interior tenant improvements, establish use as restaurant (Bamboo Village) and occupy all per plan."

Correction: Wrong police raid

With great shame, we must issue a correction. Yesterday, we described a police raid at the Wallingford Inn, in which a crack-crazed Seahawks fan broke into rooms and assaulted people. We thought that this happened Wednesday night. Well, as it turns out, the aforementioned events happened last week at the Wallingford Inn.
