With our new school levies passed, it's official that Wallyhood will have another elementary school.  McDonald School will open this fall in its temporary location, at the Lincoln High School site (4400 Interlake Avenue North), while the school's building on 54th and Latona goes under some serious renovation for the next two years. Wallyhood School Poll Results

Last week, we asked parents to indicate which school their children would attend this fall, and the results were pretty interesting:  Of the 89 respondents, 33% indicated their kids will go to John Stanford, while 26% said their kids will attend private school.  21% chose "other" public schools, and the rest was divided among McDonald School, B.F. Hamilton Construction Update

Here's the latest news from the folks managing the Hamilton International Middle School remodel.  The aerial shot to the left was taken on December 24. As of the end of December 2009, the skylight has been installed in the east historic gym and finish work is underway on the 3rd and 2nd floor of the historic building, including final drywall, paint, ceiling tiles, wood trim and ceramic tile.
