There are two events scheduled at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave. N.) that are canceled this evening: No concert tonight at the Good Shepherd Chapel Performance Space: The Wayward Music Series FRI. 1/20  - Tonight's concert with  Trimtab + Figeater has been POSTPONED until Friday, Feb. 24. Seattle Schools: Snow make-up day on Jan. 27

Seattle Public Schools has announced its plan to make up for at least one of the snow days this week: Dear Families, Seattle Public Schools will hold classes on Friday, Jan. 27 as a snow make-up day. No school was scheduled for next Friday, the day between semesters, but instead it will be used as a make-up day for one of the three snow days this week, as outlined in the 2011-12 school calendar. In case you were wondering, or had any doubt whatsoever...here's the official announcement from Seattle Public Schools: Dear Families, Due to concerns about hazardous road conditions, including icy roads, all Seattle Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 20. The John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence will also be closed to all non-essential personnel. All before and after school activities are canceled.
