Wallyhood welcomes our newest contributor, Victoria Dzenis. On July 9, 2013, Wallingford played host once again to the Annual Seafair Wallingford Parade, known for many years as the “Kiddie Parade”. Considered the longest running Seafair Parade, the Kiddie Parade was in danger of not happening at all in its 64th year, until the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce (WCoC) and the Wallingford Community Senior Center (WCSC) teamed up to make it happen. Be A Reading Buddy

FamilyWorks is looking for some volunteers, ages 16+, to help out with a reading program for kids, ages 6-12, at the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club. The program will run Tuesdays & Thursdays July 2 – August 20 (no tutoring on July 4). and orientation begins next Tuesday (June 18).
