Community Council meets Wednesday, February 6

The Wallingford Community Council will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 6, 7:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Center.  Among items on the agenda will be a presentation on going solar at your home, and updates on the design of the new North Transfer Station. The rebuilding of the Transfer Station is on the horizon, and Seattle Public Utilities will present updated design proposals. Sadako Returns

Sadako, the iconic bronze sculpture of the Hiroshima survivor that has graced our side of the University Bridge, was vandalized this past summer. Seattle Schools’ Capacity Management Update

Well, it looks like the option to shuffle incoming 6th graders from Hamilton International Middle School off to a "6th Grade Academy" in Green Lake is a thing of the past.
