Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo is holding its annual Bunny Bounce this Saturday, April 7, from 9:30am - 2:00pm, complete with egg hunts, bunny sightings, and lots of fun activities for kids from ages 1-8. Bring your own bag or basket for the egg hunts on the North Meadow. Guests can also watch as Woodland Park Zoo's animal residents are treated to Easter-themed baskets full of greens, flowers, berries, and other goodies. WCC/SPU Transfer Station Contract

Last Thursday, March 29th, Seattle Public Utilities and the Wallingford Community Council presented their agreement regarding the rebuilding of the North Transfer Station, along with supporting amendments to the land use code, to the City Council's Planning, Land Use and Sustainability committee chaired by Councilmember Conlin. Long-time Wallyhood sponsor Scarecrow Video hit play on a new coffee bar, VHSpresso. Coffee is from Ballard's Seven Roasters Coffee, teas from Wallingford's Teahouse Kuan Yin and Chai from Tipu's. They also sell Theo Chocolate bars and a variety of sodas like Mexican Coke and Blenheim's Ginger Ales. Hours are Mon - Fri 7:00 am-- 8:00 pm and  Sat - Sun  9:00 am - 8:00 pm. They have a walk-up window, for coffee and such before Scarecrow opens at 1 1am.
