Woodland Park Zoo Open House

Woodland Park Zoo (5500 Phinney Ave. N. Map of location) is hosting an open house this Thursday, February 28, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm to kick-off its "Inner North Parking Lot Reconfiguration and Expansion Project." The plans call for and additional 165 parking spaces in the zoo's North Parking Lot, demolishing two storage sheds, and moving the portable trailers that house the zoo's administrative offices. Last chance to see sloth bears until 2014

You have one more chance to visit the sloth bears at Woodland Park Zoo this weekend (September 15-16). After that, Randy and Tasha, the zoo's resident sloth bears, will be off-exhibit until 2014 while construction begins on the new Asian tropical forest exhibit. Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo is holding its annual Bunny Bounce this Saturday, April 7, from 9:30am - 2:00pm, complete with egg hunts, bunny sightings, and lots of fun activities for kids from ages 1-8. Bring your own bag or basket for the egg hunts on the North Meadow.
