We know what you’ve been thinking. Your house is well appointed, everything in its place, comfy, warm and inviting. And yet…there is one spot that feels a bit empty. And you’ve got this nagging worry: “what if a dozen people, connected one to the other at the hip, were to show up and want to sit down? Where would I seat them?”
Never fear! Frequent Wallyhood tipster Alan writes that the Woodland Park Presbyterian Church is selling its pews, and you could be the proud new owner!
My church is selling its pews to make way for individual seating in our sanctuary and I thought my neighbors might be interested in a bench or some excellent project material.
I’ve attached a flyer that shows the sizes available and a picture of what they look like. These pews could make a fine addition to a home as a window seat, outdoor bench or as material for the woodworker.
The pews may be viewed by appointment (wppcseattle@yahoo.com).
Come on, no home is complete with one!
