A day late but not a dollar short, neighbors in the area of 4th Ave NE and 40th / 42nd St NE had a block party this past Sunday, gathering under the pavilion in the John Stanford School play area and enjoyed some of the finest paella this side of the Pyrenees. It was a great pleasure to meet the neighbors we had seen so many times in passing but had never had the opportunity to talk with. Thanks all who attended, looking forward to seeing you out and about and thanks to Olivier and Isabelle and Michelle for organizing.

I had nothing to do with this
, but I agree it was great to meet the neighbors! Congrats to Michelle and Isabelle for organizing; I’m looking forward the next potluck.
Dang, we wanted to come, but had already made conflicting plans when we got the invite. Here’s hoping for another sometime relatively soon-ish!
dang, we live right there, and didn’t know about it. hope there’s another one soon.
Heh.. I never know about the block parties until they’re almost over, myself
