Hot the heels of the news that the Calvary Fellowship Church has returned to Wallingford, we learned today that a new worship service has started meeting Sunday mornings at the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club: the Anchor Church.
It’s part of the Acts 29 Network of churches, an evangelical, missionary Christian group dedicated to “planting” new churches around the country.
According to their website this in one of Acts 29′s doctrines: “We are not egalitarians and do believe that men should head their homes and male elders should lead their churches with masculine love like Jesus Christ.”
