Several news sources, including Q13, are reporting that the man sought as a “person of interest” in the shooting of 4 Lakewood police officers yesterday, Maurice Clemmons, was seen getting off a bus in the University District around 7 am this morning. Text and e-mail alerts have been sent to students.

The Seattle Times has “tweeted” that this was a case of mistaken identity and the search near UW has been called off.
They’re looking at a park in Beacon Hill now, I believe.
They are in Cowen Park in Ravenna as of 12:45 p.m.
