2010 Wallingford Garden Tour 6/6

Back in April, we wrote about the Wallingford Neighborhood Office’s search for additional gardens to feature during this year’s garden tour.  Now, it’s tour time!

The 2010 Wallingford Garden Tour will be held on Sunday June 6th, 10am-4pm. The self-guided tour allows you to enjoy some of the beautiful and inspiring private gardens in the Wallingford neighborhood. Read about some of the wonderful gardens featured on last year’s tour in this Wallingford Journal Article.

Tickets ($15 general admission, kids under 12 free) are available at the Wallingford Neighborhood Office, Tweedy and Popp, or Swansons Nursery.  But get your tix early, they’ve been known to sell out — especially when there’s sunshine, which the Weather Channel is currently forecasting a little of on Sunday.  Fingers crossed.  But either way, the gardens will be gorgeous!

  • Sunday morning latte:  $5
  • Sunblock or cheap umbrella, depending:  $12
  • Wallingford Garden tour admission:  $15
  • Spending a lazy Sunday enjoying the neighborhood & the people who live here:  Priceless

I love seeing the neighborhood gardens… and it’s even better as a walking or biking tour.
