Accueillez les Français

Housed at the Good Shepherd Center, the ALLIANCE FRANCAISE OF SEATTLE is a non-profit cultural & educational organization that strives to improve understanding between France and other countries.  One of the ways they do that is to arrange for a summer student exchange program.  Here’s where you come in:

15 French students are eager to visit Seattle July 29 – August 18th… and they need host families.  If you or someone you know is interested in hosting an exchange student, please contact Jill Zawatski (jillzawatski at gmail dot com) by Friday May 28th.

New host families will be asked to fill out an application, followed by a brief home visit.  Also, host siblings attending a Seattle Public High School can earn up to 100 service learning hours for participating in the program.

It has taken her four years to begin to understand Seattle humor, but she’s getting there.
