Farmer’s Market Today

This weekend I finally got a chance to watch Food, Inc. And just like the trailer promised, I no longer look at dinner the same way.  Nor lunch, nor breakfast.  Nor the lovely things to be found at the Wallingford Farmer’s Market:  cherries, fresh meats, handmade pasta, greens, carrots, kolaches, marinades, ice cream, etc.

3-7 pm in the Wallingford Center parking lot.  Don’t forget to show your produce to participating Wallingford Center merchants for a 10% discount while the market is open.  Farmer’s market day business defrays some of the costs of losing parking spaces to vendors during the market’s operation.

If you need further encouragement, read about previous weeks’ offerings of the Wallingford Farmer’s Market on the market’s blog here.
