FamilyWorks Fundraising Dinner 10/3

  • Post author:

You’re invited to join Wallyhood’s favorite do-gooders for a silent auction and delicious fundraising dinner Sunday, 10/3.  The dinner takes place outside of Wallingford’s borders at Tom Douglas’ Palace Ballroom, but that’s okay because the cash will come back to Wallingford’s family center and food bank, FamilyWorks.

Matthew Amster-Burton, author of Hungry Monkey, a food-loving father’s quest to raise an adventurous eater, will be the keynote speaker.

  • What: FamilyWorks Sunday Dinner 2010
  • When: Sunday, October 03, 2010.  Drinks from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Dinner 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
  • Where: Palace Ballroom, corner of 5th & Lenora downtown.  View map here.
  • Cost: $98.00 per person

What, you haven’t made your reservation yet?  Even though Tom Douglas’ menus are absolutely divine?  Even though the dinner will put money in the pocket of a Wallingford non-profit that feeds, trains, clothes, counsels, and educates our community?  Okay.  I know how you are.  Here’s why you wanna go:  how else can you go to Disneyland with Dow Constantine after drinking a 5 liter bottle of Chianti at the Fairmont Hotel, and riding the Duck from Pike Place to the EMP?

Auction items will include:

  • Disneyland Tickets for 4/Hotel for 2 nights
  • Lunch with Dow Constantine
  • 2 tickets to ride The Ducks
  • 4 tickets to EMP
  • Savor Seattle Pike Place Market Classic Tour
  • 5 liter bottle of Chianti
  • A night downtown at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel

To be mailed an invitation, call (206) 694-6727.   Or RSVP through Brown Paper Tickets online. http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/116819
