Next Friday (10/22), McDonald School will hold its first annual Walkathon to raise money for extra curricular programs and teaching assistants. The McDonald School PTA is asking friends and family of McDonald School students, as well as local businesses to help meet their goal of raising $6,000.
On Walkathon day, kids in grades K-1 and 2-5 will each walk for an hour and will be cheered on by a special guest–former UW track star Katie Follett, who’s currently training for the Olympics.
