Weekend Roundup

Are you ready for the weekend?  I sure am! What a week!  Here’s what’s on tap nearby this weekend:

Friday, October 22nd

  • Green Lake Pumpkin Flashlight Hunt for kids 4-11 years old. 7pm-8pm starting at the gym, but don’t be late.  Kids will collect coins & candy by flashlight.  And it’s free.  Just show up with a flashlight for each kiddo, a reusable bag to collect stuff in, and the kid(s).  More info here, thanks to MyGreenLake and the PI.
  • Ancora, a local nonprofit women’s ensemble, performs Incantations — a celebration of spells inspired by All Hallow’s Eve.  The repertoire is promised to be “spooky and spiritual.” And what a fitting locale, with great acoustics for such a performance:  The Good Shepherd Center’s Chapel Performance Space.   7:30pm Friday and Saturday (only)!  Adults $20, kids and seniors $15.  Get your Brown Paper Tickets here.
