No December Dinner Hours at Varsity Inn

I have arrived, Wallingford.  Yes, I am now an official ‘local.”  I got a phone call today from my favorite waitress, letting Wallyhood know that the Varsity Inn will not be serving Mexican dinners for the month of December.

The Varsity Inn will close at 3pm daily, effective today 11/29.

Patty says that chef Rogelio will be traveling to Mexico in December, and that the Varsity Inn will not be open for dinner hours until he returns.  That’s great news in a way, because he’ll be coming back with some new recipes to try out on us in January.

Varsity Inn will serve breakfast and lunch as usual.  December kitchen hours are:

  • Mon – Fri, 7am-2:45pm
  • Sat & Sun, 8am – 2:45pm

So get your pancakes early in the day!
