Magma Fest

Remember when Hollow Earth Radio was in Wallingford?  Yeah, that was cool. Even cooler is the fact that they’re bringing part of their annual MagmaFest back to Wallingford.

What is a Magma Fest?  It’s a festival to support local indie musicians and to expose more people to Hollow Earth Radio’s volunteer-run, online, freeform radio.  What a great combo!

The festival is already happening now at various venues across the city.   Learn more here or drop by the Chapel Performance Space in the Good Shepherd Center March 18th & 19th.  Tickets $10 -$20, sliding scale.  $60 Magma Passes are also available.

Friday, March 18th, 7pm

Mecca Normal
Ô Paon
Sue Ann Harkey

Saturday, March 19th, 7pm

Michael Hurley
Jason Dodson (of the Maldives)
Shana Cleveland & The Sand Castles

Sand Castles.  Really?  Are we going to break into song, “Please… don’t let this feeling end… it may not come again…”?  (And that’s why you should go to the Magma Festival!  Good feelings!)
