Rubber Chickens

This Friday, April 1st is just another day for some; but for others, it’s April Fools Day.  For Archie McPhee, Friday marks The Great Rubber Chicken Giveaway.  That’s right folks, the first 100 people who come in to Archie McPhee this Friday will get their very own rubber chicken.  I happen to think this giveaway is highly appropriate for Wallingford since we’re friends of the fowl, and so I hereby proclaim that our neighborhood mascot is the chicken, be it rubber or real.  Who’s with me?

Scurry on over to Archie McPhee (1300 N. 45th St.) this Friday.  The store opens at 10:00 a.m.  And if you see Shana, the High Priestess of Rubber Chickens, tell her Wallyhood sent you to pick up your prized mascot.
