Bandolero’s Aha Toro Dinner

Update:  We received word on 5/19 that this dinner is cancelled.

Aha Toro and Bandolero (Wallyhood’s favorite tequila bar, TEQUILA!) present A Distiller’s Dinner on Monday, May 23 at 7pm.   Now, frankly, the term “distiller’s dinner” is new to me.  But I’ve enjoyed some of the anejo and blanco shots served at Bandolero, and I’ve tasted their nibbles.  Based on that, the menu sounds great.  I don’t care what they call it.

There are just 40 seats available, and registration is required.  $75 a person.

Here’s the menu:

Reception

Amigo Reposado Margarita
Chichorron and Guacamole
Tortilla Chips and Traditional Salsa

Aha Toro Blanco

Arcadian greens, ancho chili-rubbed sea scallops, apple tequila vinaigrette

Aha Toro Reposado

Corn and spicy adobo-encrusted New York Steak, tamale-wrapped seasoned rice, chilled avocado crema, fresh asparagus

Aha Toro Anejo

Carmelized plantains, Tillamook vanilla ice cream, flamed Aha Toro Anejo

Intrigued?  Interested?  Hungry or parched?  Contact Bandolero for more info or to sign up.

(Bandolero is a Wallyhood sponsor)
