Bicycle Recycle

The Meridian School is hosting a Bicycle Recycle event Thursday-Saturday, May 19-21.

Volunteers will be on hand to collect used bikes and bike parts which will be donated to BikeWorks, a local non-profit organization building sustainable communities by educating youth and promoting cycling.  And who can’t get behind that?

Bike drop off times are:

  • 8am-9am and 2:30pm-3:30pm  Thursday
  • 8am-9am and 2:30pm-3:30pm  Friday
  • 9am-11am  Saturday

For your convenience, there’s even a drive-through option at the Good Shepherd Center.

This community service project is intended to promote biking, help make bikes accessible to all people, keep bikes out of the landfills and help kids and families learn about BikeWorks.
