Lettuce Link needs volunteers for Monday night

  • Post author:

Solid Ground/Lettuce Link is looking for a few volunteers to help repackage seeds for distribution.  If you’re free Monday night, May 16, between 5:30-7pm and you want to help out, here are the details, from Solid Ground’s Molly Woodring:

I apologize for how last minute this is, but if you are free next Monday evening for a little low-key volunteering with Lettuce Link, we would love to have your help! Last year, Lettuce Link passed out seeds, starts, and gardening information to over 2000 food bank clients at 24 sites in Seattle. We buy these seeds in bulk and need YOUR help repackaging them for distribution. The work is easy and family-friendly, and there will be plenty of opportunity to chat with your fellow volunteers!

Monday, May 16, 5:30-7pm. Light snacks provided.
Solid Ground’s main office at 1501 N. 45th St. in Wallingford.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to me at [email protected] or call 206.694.6751

Thanks!

Molly Woodring, Harvest Coordinator/AmeriCorps*VISTA
