Lemonade for Hopelink

  • Post author:

Middle school students Cyan and Darius are hosting a lemonade stand called “Hopelink Lemonade” this Sunday, June 19, from 1-4pm at Gas Works Park. The money they raise from the lemonade stand will go to Hopelink — a foundation for low income families, children, seniors, and people with disabilities. While they won’t be selling the lemonade directly, they’ll have a donation box at the stand, and will dispense lemonade to those who donate. No promises, but they may even have mini cupcakes available from Trophy!

Cyan and Darius hope to raise $100 on Sunday, so they’re asking for families to come and look for them at the park, just to the right of the bathrooms. This is not a school project or for service hours — just a little something for the cause. So grab a kite and bring your Dad to Kite Hill at Gas Works Park for Father’s Day. It should be a beautiful day to enjoy the sunshine and lemonade!

If Cyan & Darius read this — the Solstice Parade committee will be breaking down the floats from Saturday’s parade at 4pm in the parking area by the park. They’ll be thirsty, so don’t close up early!
