This Thursday, Izilla Toys is hosting their third Family Picnic Party on the Wallingford Center patio, from 5:30 – 8pm. Dubbed “Le Tour de Zilla,” kids can bring their trikes, balance bikes, scooters, and bikes to take part in the “World’s Smallest Stage Race,” with little prizes for every participant. Plus, there will be ice cream floats made with Hansen’s Natural Soda and bike-themed raffle prizes generously donated by Michael Ward, author of Mike and the Bike.
Inside, Ryan Alley will be face painting the little ones (my kid got the coolest face painting last month: half android, half universe!), plus Izilla will be kicking-off their weekend-long sale in conjunction with the Wallingford Center’s 25th Anniversary.
