No Phone Books

  • Post author:

Tomorrow is your last chance to opt-out of Yellowbook and SuperPages phone book deliveries for the fall. The City of Seattle’s Opt-Out Registry (www.seattle.gov/stopphonebooks) is free for residents and businesses to use for notifying publishers to stop delivering phone books. If you’ve already done this once before, you’re golden, but you can also check your “account” to make sure you’ve checked off what you don’t want by clicking here.

The City of Seattle tells us that so far, 55,000 Seattle homes and businesses have stopped 300,000 deliveries, equaling nearly 300 tons of paper. To quote my son, “That’s a whole lotta muches!”

You can also navigate from this site to the Seattle version of Catalog Choice, where you can actually request that specific catalogs stop being maled to you. I’m loving it!
