How to Survive a Zombie Attack

Chris Witwer September 12, 2011 Comments are off
Oops! Zombies are ATTRACTED to cilantro.

Everybody knows there are zombies, sometimes hundreds of them, in Fremont.  What would happen if the crowd spilled east of Stone Way one of these days, and we were attacked by them?  How do we protect ourselves?  Would rubbing garlic all over ourselves do any good?  (No!  Try cilantro instead!)

Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has deemed this topic worthy of attention.  See their newish webpage Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse here.

This month’s Wallingford Walk, “How to Survive a Zombie Attack,” promises to focus on community resilience in times of stress.  From Sustainable Wallingford’s website:

Walkers will visit several of the seven Community Preparedness Hubs located within the Wallingford Community.  Walkers will learn about the different community preparedness resources available at each Hub, how best to prepare for a Zombie attack and how they can get more involved with the Sustainable Wallingford Community Preparedness group.

  • What:  Wallingford Walk:  Community Resilience – How to Survive a Zombie Attack
  • When:  Saturday, Sept 17th, 10am.
  • Where:  Meet outside of Tully’s at the corner of 45th & Meridian.
  • Cost: Free!
