Sock Monster Expanding

Sock Monster is expanding!

Sock Monster will be taking over about 200 square feet the space recently vacated by  Not A Number Cards and Gifts.  Sock Monster’s owner Holly tells us they’re hoping to move into the additional space around November 1 (hopefully Halloween, though!)  after some painting and other chores.  The new space will double Sock Monster’s window front.

And what will they do with this new space?  Socks, of course!  Holly already has a huge collection of winter wool socks she’ll be putting out -men’s and women’s wool, cashmere, and angora blends.  High-end, colorful stuff.  She’s also got hand tie-dyed socks coming soon.  And there will be plenty of Christmas and holiday socks coming soon as well.

Sock Monster is located at 1909 N. 45th St.

Oh, and be sure to swing by for treats during the Halloween trick or treating festivities Monday evening!

Remember that Sock Monster is also a drop-off location for your unwanted but still wearable footwear. All shoes, slippers, boots, sandals, etc. of all sizes will be accepted and collected by Redeeming Soles, which distributes them. to organizations that support our needy neighbors.

Dare we hope that there is room once again for pinball?
