Wallingford Greenway Meeting Tuesday

  • Post author:

We heard there was a pretty good turnout for the Wallingford Neighborhood Greenway last week at Mosaic Coffeehouse. If you missed it and you still want to be involved in helping plan the greenway, not to worry–there’s another one tomorrow night (Tuesday, October 18) from 6:30-8:30pm at Mosaic (4401 2nd Avenue NE). Tomorrow’s meeting will mostly be a review of what was discussed last week, which we have a summary here for you to read.

The group came up with a map that shows the current greenway project as well as some proposed north/south routes for future consideration. You can see the map with a complete legend here.

Tweaks to the Woodland Park greenway
    – the crossing of greenlake way N needs to be added as a pinch point
    – the size of the road would allow for a dedicated bike lane
    – 41st can reach over to bfday and the interurban trail, 36th can be used for fremont access
