Are you and your sig other clashing over design styles at home? Then sweat no more, my friend. Interior designer Melinda Slater and financial advisor Stacy Willoughby are hosting a workshop on financing and interior design this Wednesday (February 29), from 6:30-8:30PM at Wine World (400 NE 45th St.):

Let Interior Designer Melinda Slater and Financial Advisor Stacy Willoughby help you tackle two tricky areas where couples often collide: finances and interior design. Issues we will bat around: An alternative to putting his stuff in a box and dropping it at Goodwill–learn a new approach to understanding your design styles and how to combine them. Fun and interactive techniques that stop the stalemate and help you both see design preferences through each other’s eyes. A better way to communicate your financial needs and wants (instead of hiding your purchases in the trunk until he goes to sleep). Relief from the fear that you’ll never be able to retire–resist the temptation to bury your head in the sand and take steps toward a real plan. Bring a friend and come engage in a lively discussion with design and finance professionals to help you make the most of your money and your home. Light hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.
