The 2012 Wallingford Walks season kicks-off on Saturday, April 14. Each month the walks feature different themes that offer a glimpse on some of the cool things happening around the neighborhood, beginning with Sustainable Landscaping. Here’s the scoop:

Saturday, April 14, from 10:00 – 12:00 – Sustainable Landscaping: Join an expert from Seattle Tilth http://seattletilth.org/ on a tour of Wallingford to discuss examples of sustainable landscaping. The walk will start outside of Tully’s, 2100 North 45th Street, at 10:00 am, and will cover approximately three miles at a leisurely pace over approximately 2 hours.
