Benefit concert for Japan

Total Experience Gospel Choir

The Total Experience Gospel Choir (TEGC) will perform at Wallingford United Methodist Church (2115 N 42nd St.) this Friday, May 11, at 8:00PM. You may recall, The TEGC gave a concert at the church back in January, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. This time, the concert is a benefit for the people of Ishinomaki, Japan, a village still recovering from last year’s earthquake and tsunami. Here’s a little more information from the organizers:

The TEGC has kept in touch with the friends they made while visiting Ishinomaki several years ago. The Total Experience Gospel Choir departs for Japan May 13. Let’s show we care with a standing room only event! There is no charge for the concert. Your donations are welcome.
